From scattered pilots to one simple system the team can use today

The challenge

AI pilots were popping up everywhere. Shadow AI usage and random acts of enablement filled gaps. Skill levels across teams were uneven. We needed one place to start, clear guardrails, and practical tools that help on real calls.

What we built in H1

  • AI Command Center. One front door with beginner, intermediate, and advanced paths. Clear guidance so teams adopt quickly and safely.

  • Optional Foundational courses. “Gemini for Sales Success” and “NotebookLM Intelligence for the Field”, built for day-one utility in live deal work. Early snapshot: +60% learners passed so far.

  • Activities tied to the pipeline. Short, on-call practice for objection handling. We also reviewed live calls with Gong AI to see which objections showed up, how tradeoffs were framed, and whether recommended talk tracks were used. Those insights fed course updates and manager coaching.

  • Governance that enables speed. Principles, tool guidance, and a simple checklist so quality and security stay high while we move fast.

How it works

All roads start at the Command Center. Learners pick a level, grab ready-to-use prompts and quick practice, and use short guides in the moment. Managers get one view across course engagement, content usage, and call signals, which makes coaching and prioritization easier. We also use ChatGPT to automate the early steps of learning design, so scripts, storyboards, and rubrics move from idea to first draft in hours.

What’s next in H2

  • Launch the Innovation Hub. A quick-turn line that converts field ideas into shipped capabilities in weeks. We will publish backlog, in-flight, and shipped views.

  • Reward what works. Surface the best ideas, give them build support, and recognize the creators.

  • Partner model. Provide patterns and guardrails so PMM, Presales, xDR, and AEs can run their own AI initiatives without waiting in a queue.

  • Expand short, on-call activities. Competitive research, discovery prep, proposal summaries, and follow-up optimization. Each with a clear prompt path and a live use case.

  • Operating commitments. 80% of Level 1 to 2 requests delivered inside two weeks. Monthly portfolio updates. Flat cost base while scope grows.

My role

I set direction and build the system with the team. They train each other, and document what works so knowledge scales. I stay hands on as a player-coach when it lifts quality or speed. I authored NotebookLM, and Gemini for Sales Success using our ChatGPT design workflow, and I served as the on-camera presenter for Gemini. Team members also served as on-camera presenters for other videos, and the team produced the videos, quick references, and supporting assets.
